If you do not want to be bound by the terms of this Agreement, you are advised to stop using the website accordingly. Hyakutake only grants use and access of this website, its contents, and its services to those who have accepted its terms. This page sets out the terms and conditions on which you may use our online and/or mobile services, our website and software provided through or in connection with the Services. These terms and conditions (the “GTC”), govern your booking for and participation at the POV Budapest Conference (the “Event”) as a visitor of the Event, taking place between 2024. September 19. and 2024. September 20. or on such other dates as notified to you by the Hyakutake Bt. This GTC also governs the terms and conditions for the sale of the tickets valid for the event and the use of the Tickets, and also the participation in the Event.
1.1. Event Organizer: Hyakutake Betéti Társaság (registered office: 9012 Győr, Forráskút utca 35, registration number: 08-06-015180, vat number: 28797663-2-08, website: https://povbudapest.com/, e-mail address: helloboldi@gmail.com )
1.2. Visitor: A person attending the Event with a valid Ticket.
1.3. Ticket Purchaser: The person who actually purchases the Ticker for the Event.
1.4. Event: POV Budapest Conference organised by Hyakute Betéti Társásag, which will take place at the National Dance Theatre Budapest in 2024 September 19-20.
1.5. Event Sponsor: A person or company which has entered into a sponsorship agreement with Hyakutake in relation to the Event.
1.6. Ticket: A ticket which was created between the Event Organiser and the Ticket Purchaser, in paper or electronic format, with unique identifiers. The Ticket Purchaser or the Visitor certifies his/her right to attend the event through the ticket.
1.7. Participation Fee: The part of the value of the Ticket, which entitles the Visitor to participate in the Event.

2.1. Tickets can only be purchased from the Event Organiser on the Event Website, or through sales channels operated by the Event Organiser. The Event Organiser shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of Tickets purchased from unauthorized sources, including resale tickets.
2.2. In the case where you purchase Tickets for the Event as a representative of a company you guarantee that you are authorized to agree to these Terms on behalf of the company. You shall also ensure that all Visitors from the company are made aware of and comply with these Terms.
2.3. Ticket Purchasing on the website: After selecting the right ticket type and entering the number of tickets the Ticket Purchaser can proceed to the checkout page. After entering the personal data, the Ticket Purchaser can continue with the purchase by clicking on the Pay now button. Payment is made through the online interface of the Shopify’s checkout system (https://www.shopify.com/). The organizer is not responsible for any errors that may occur during the bank payment.
2.4. Tickets will be sent to the e-mail address provided during the purchase process, together with the electronic invoice, after the successful bank transaction. The Ticket Purchaser can also download the tickets at the end of the purchasing flow on the website.
2.5. Visitors are not obliged to print their tickets, because it can also be presented on a smart device. Tickets are equipped with a unique QR/Bar code. It is the responsibility of the Ticket Purchaser to keep the Ticket and to present it upon entry to the Event.
2.6. For safety, maintenance or other important reasons, the Event Organiser has the right to suspend ticket sales without any prior notice or information.
2.7. The Ticket Purchaser acknowledges that the Event Organiser shall not be liable for any damage or misuse arising during or as a result of online payment.
2.8. Ticket purchaser declares that he/she is providing only valid information when purchasing a ticket. The Event Organiser shall not be liable for any damages resulting from any incorrect, misleading or false information provided by the Ticket Purchaser. The Event Organiser processes the data in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the website.
3.1 Through the purchased Ticket the legal relationship is established between the Visitor/Ticket Purchaser and the Event Organizer.
3.2. The ticket entitles the Visitor to a single entry, and the Ticket may be used only once. Upon entry, visitors are provided with a wristband. This wristband serves as a physical indicator that they are attendees of the event and have complied with the entry requirements.The wristband enables visitors to attend all activities scheduled over the 2-day conference as well as any associated afterparty. This suggests that while the ticket itself is for single use (entry), the wristband allows for continued access throughout the duration of the event.
3.3. Event organizer is not obliged to replace lost, damaged, destroyed tickets.
3.4. Tickets are non-refundable and the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised by the Ticket Purchaser after the ticket has been purchased.
Please note that these provisions may substantially differ from the law or from normal contractual practice:
4.1. The Event Organizer reserves the right to change the program, date and venue.
4.2. It is not considered a change of programme if the Event features different performers to those originally announced.
4.3. It is not considered a date change if the Event is on the originally announced calendar day, but starts or takes place either earlier or later than announced.
4.4. In the event of a change of programme, date or location, if it is assumed that the Ticket Purchaser does not originally purchase a ticket in the knowledge of the new programme, new date and/or new location, the Event Organiser shall provide the Ticket Purchaser with the possibility to withdraw from the contract (Ticket exchange) upon request.
4.5. If the Event is canceled before the start of the Event, the Event Organiser refunds the amount of the Ticket Fee resulting from the online card purchases within sixty (60) days of the cancellation. With the detailed rules and the Tickets not resulting from online bank card purchases on information related to the redemption Event Organizer informs the Ticket Buyers at the same time as the cancellation notice.
4.6. If the event is canceled or interrupted due to a circumstance that is beyond the control of the Event Organizer and was not foreseeable at the time of signing the contract (ticket purchase) and could not have been expected to avoid the circumstances or prevented (force majeure) the Event Organiser shall not be liable for the cancellation of the Event, and the contract shall be terminated.
4.7. The Event organizer liability to the Ticket Purchaser as a result of any cancellation or postponement of an Event shall be limited to the amount of Fees which the Ticket Purchaser have paid to the Event Organiser for the Event, and the Event Organiser shall not be liable for any additional losses incurred by the Ticket Purchaser as a result of such cancellation or postponement.
5.1. To participate in the event, the Visitor must have a valid Ticket before entering the Event. The Visitor is obliged to present his/her Ticket to the authorized personnel upon entry to check its validity, as well as upon request for the entire duration of the Event, while the Visitor is at the Event.
5.2. Everyone may attend the Event at their own risk. The Visitor shall use the venue for its intended purpose, and use any items provided to him/her for their intended purpose.
5.3. By applying for entry to the Event, the Visitor accepts as binding upon him/herself the content of the Rules and Regulations for the conduct of the Event.
5.4. It is strictly forbidden to bring into the Event any object that is dangerous to safety and/or disturbing or likely to disturb other Visitors. In such a case, the Visitor may be expelled from the Event site.
5.5. The recording of images and sound by any professional means are strictly prohibited.
5.6. By participating in the Event, you acknowledge that the Event Organizer or a third party approved by the Event Organizer may take photos and film at the Event.
5.7. Only the Event Organiser and the Event Sponsors have the right to promote any company, brand service or product, no Visitor is allowed to advertise or promote any company, brand, service or product.
5.8. With the permission of the Event Organizer, video and audio recordings can be made, on which Visitors may appear as part of the audience. By entering the Event, Visitors give their irrevocable consent to the Event Organizer or those authorized by the Event Organizer recording the Visitor's voice, image, likeness. Visitors may not assert any claims against the Event Organiser or the legitimate users of the material produced.
6.1. These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or its subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary. Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of Hungary shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or its subject matter or formation.
7.1. Event Organiser will primarily receive complaints and user inquiries regarding the Event at the email address: info@povbudapest.com
7.2. Complaint will be answered by the Event Organiser in writing, sent to the email address provided by the Ticket Purchaser via email from a closed customer service system. Complaints will be investigated and answered by the Event Organiser without delay, but at the latest within thirty (30) days from receiving the complaint.
7.3. The event organizer will receive verbal complaints immediately and record them in a report.
7.4. If the Ticket Purchaser has a problem, he/she can also use the online dispute resolution provided by the European Commission, details of which can be found at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/?event=main.home.howitworks.
7.5. The Ticket Purchaser may also address a consumer complaint to the local district office. The district office is the first instance in consumer protection matters. The jurisdiction of the district offices is available at: https://jarasinfo.gov.hu/.
8.1. If any clause of this GTC becomes invalid, invalid or unenforceable for any reason, this invalidity or unenforceability does not affect the validity of the other clauses of the GTC. Any such void, invalid or unenforceable term shall be replaced by a legally permissible and enforceable term that most closely resembles the exact legal meaning of the term found to be invalid or unenforceable.
8.2. In matters not regulated in these GTC, the provisions of the Hungarian Civil Code (V. of 2013) shall prevail.
8.3. Event organizers for the organization and planning of the event may use subcontractors.
8.4. The Parties record that they will seek to settle disputes primarily by peaceful means. If this does not lead to a successful outcome, the Parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Courts of Law CXXX of 2016 on the Hungarian Code of Civil Procedure (Pp.) for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or its breach or termination.

POV Budapest is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or preference in design philosophy. Harassment of conference participants in any form will not be tolerated. This code of conduct applies to all POV Budapest spaces, including talks, workshops, parties, social media, and online forums.
Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct by any attendees of POV Budapest and related events is unacceptable. We expect participants to follow these rules in all conference venues and conference-related social events.
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop such behavior is expected to comply immediately. Conference organizers reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the conference without a refund.
If you are subjected to or witness harassment, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference staff immediately. Conference staff can be identified by special badges/attire and are trained to address and escalate any issues to ensure the Code of Conduct is upheld.
This Code of Conduct applies to all participants of POV Budapest (sponsors, volunteers, speakers, attendees, and other guests) across all conference venues and conference-related social events.
